On 19 May 2026, I captured this Turkish Airlines Airbus A320 during its final approach under a cloudy sky. The aircraft was wearing the elegant Star Alliance livery, which gave the scene a more distinctive and special character compared with a standard airline paint scheme.
I took this photo with my Olympus OM-D E-M1X camera and M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F5.0-6.3 IS II lens. The image was captured at 218 mm, with camera settings of f/7.1, 1/1250 sec, ISO 400, and 0 EV exposure compensation. These settings helped me freeze the aircraft clearly while preserving detail in the soft, overcast light.
The cloudy background created a calm and slightly dramatic atmosphere.
