About This Video

After World War II, legendary German aircraft designer Kurt Tank moved to Argentina to build one of the most advanced jet fighters outside the superpowers. The result was the FMA IAe 33 Pulqui II — a swept-wing jet inspired by unfinished German WWII designs. On paper it could compete with early Cold War fighters like the MiG-15 and F-86 Sabre. But test crashes, political turmoil, and the 1955 coup in Argentina ended the program before it could succeed. Only five prototypes were ever built. ✈️ TheAeroGraphyOfficial — aviation history, aircraft engineering, and real stories from the sky.
